When you sign up to give ThrowBone rewards, you commit to nothing. That's right! Signing up allows you to make a pledge to "throw a bone" (offer a reward of, say, $0.25 or $1) to a Web page author, to show them that you value their work.

You have two ways to fund your account:

Option A – Pay as you go: Your pledges add up over time. Once they reach $10 or more, we'll send you an email requesting payment. You can change your mind at any time – just delete any charge you don't want to pay, no questions asked!

Option B – Preload your account: Load a minimum of $10 into your ThrowBone wallet upfront. When you throw a bone, the amount is deducted from your balance instantly. No waiting, no invoices – just quick, seamless tipping. You can top up your wallet any time.

So here's how it works.

1. We create a ThrowBone account for you, so that any time you click on the ThrowBone graphic, you can easily "throw a bone" to the Web page author. You can see and track all the bones you've thrown right here at any time.
2. Choose how you'd like to fund your tipping (below).
3. You can pay by check or credit/debit card. If by card, it goes through a secure service so that we never see your card account numbers.
4. Once you have paid, we pay the Web page authors you have decided to reward. We keep 0.5% (only 1/2 cent of every dollar!) to provide this service.

We further pledge never to give your name or email information out to anyone, for marketing purposes or any other reason. That's it! As you can see, you can't go wrong.
